Who needs it
Foreign passport holders entering India
Travelling on a tourist, business, medical or student visa or e-Visa. The e-Arrival Card is the digital landing card that replaced the paper form.
OCI cardholders on a foreign passport
Holding OCI does not skip this step. Indian passport holders do not file it.
Each child, separately

The e-Arrival Card is not a visa. You still need a valid visa, e-Visa or OCI card.

Timing

Air Suvidha vs e-Arrival Card
Two different forms. The e-Arrival Card is the immigration landing card for foreign passport holders, submitted inside the 72 hours before arrival — this service covers it. Air Suvidha 2.0 is a separate health self-declaration for all international arrivals, Indian citizens included, completed within 24 hours before arrival; it can change at short notice, so check it before each trip.

Common questions
Who needs to fill the India e-Arrival Card?
Foreign passport holders arriving in India on a tourist, business, medical or student visa or e-Visa, and OCI cardholders travelling on a foreign passport. Each traveller has their own card, children and infants included. Indian passport holders do not file it. If you are unsure whether it applies to your trip, check before you fly — message us.
Do OCI card holders need an e-Arrival Card?
Yes. OCI and e-OCI cardholders travelling on a foreign passport file it, like other foreign passport holders: holding an OCI does not skip this step. The card is separate from your OCI and does not update it, so an OCI still showing an old passport number needs its own OCI Link, filed separately from the arrival card.
How early can I fill the e-Arrival Card?
The card is only accepted inside the 72 hours before your arrival in India, counted from your arrival time. You can order from us any time before that: we hold your details, submit each traveller's card when the window opens, and email the confirmation, usually within hours of submission.
Is the e-Arrival Card a visa?
No. It is the immigration landing card for foreign passport holders, the digital form that replaced the paper arrival card. You still need a valid visa, e-Visa or OCI card to enter India. The e-Arrival Card sits alongside those documents and does not replace any of them, so check your visa or OCI first.
Do I need to print it?
Keeping the confirmation on your phone is usually enough, and a printed copy is a good backup. Airlines may ask to see it at check-in, and you show it at immigration in India. We email a confirmation PDF for each traveller, so you can save it to your phone or print it for the journey.
What if I arrive in less than 12 hours?
Message us first, before you order. Orders received less than 12 hours before arrival need a quick check with us, so we confirm your timing before you pay. Check before you fly — send us your arrival date, time and flight number on WhatsApp and we confirm the next step.
Is this the same as the paper landing card?
Yes. The e-Arrival Card replaced the paper landing (disembarkation) card that foreign nationals filled in on arrival. Paper cards were withdrawn in April 2026.
Does it link to my OCI?
No. The e-Arrival Card is separate from your OCI: it does not link to it or update it. If your OCI still shows an old passport number, that needs its own OCI Link.
Do children need their own e-Arrival Card?
Yes. Each traveller has their own card, children and infants included. Order one per traveller and we submit the family together.
What if I made a mistake in my details?
Tell us before we submit and we correct it at no charge. We also check each traveller's details against their passport before submission.
Is there a government fee?
No — the official form is free; our £20 covers filling, checking and submitting it for you.
Can Pakistani passport holders use this service?
We do not provide this service for Pakistani passport holders or persons of Pakistani origin.
