VFS & Government Fees for Indian Services in the UK (2026)
These are the amounts VFS Global collects on the day of submission — the Indian government fee, the Indian Community Welfare Fund contribution, and the visa centre’s own service fee. They are separate from the Matrix Solutions service fee shown on each service page, and you pay them at the appointment rather than to us. The exact total is confirmed by VFS Global on the day.
One quirk worth knowing: the welfare-fund line is £3 on OCI cases (shown as ICWF) and £2 on passport, surrender, PCC and birth registration cases (shown as ICW). Both are already included in the totals below.

Services with no visa centre fee
Some cases do not go through a visa application centre at all. These routes are completed online or through a different authority, so no VFS fee applies.
- OCI Link within 90 days
Completed online when the new passport was issued within the last 90 days — no visa centre visit and nothing payable there.
- Indian e-Visa
Applied for online. Our e-Visa prices are all-inclusive where stated, so there is no separate visa centre fee.
- NRI PAN card
Handled through the Indian income-tax portal, not a visa centre.
- UK passport renewal
A His Majesty's Passport Office service — Indian government and visa centre fees do not apply.
