OCI Status Check & e-OCI Card Download
If your OCI is already linked to your current passport, you can obtain your e-OCI card copy — a digital version for your phone, with QR verification. This page also explains how to check your OCI application status. Matrix Solutions helps you track your application and retrieve your e-OCI: we handle the OCI portal account, generate the card on the official system, check the details, and send it to you securely.

One condition — your OCI needs to be linked with your current passport
The official portal generates the e-OCI from your existing OCI record, so the record needs to be valid and up to date:
- If your OCI is already linked with your current passport, we can generally deliver your e-OCI within 24 hours of order confirmation.
- If your OCI is not yet linked with your current passport, the e-OCI cannot be generated until linking is complete — we can handle both; message us and we will confirm the right service. The e-OCI follows once linking is complete, typically 40–45 days end to end.
- For Fresh OCI, spouse OCI, and Surrender + OCI clients, the e-OCI can only be generated after the VFS file is submitted and the OCI shows as processed on the official system — ask us to include it with your order and we generate it as soon as your record is live.

When an e-OCI helps
Travelling light or as a backup
Keep an official digital copy of your OCI on your phone while travelling — useful at airline check-in, immigration check posts, and transit checks alongside your passport.
Card lost, damaged, or left at home
If your physical card is lost or damaged, or you have already left for a trip without it, the e-OCI is an official digital copy you can present in the meantime. A lost or damaged card is normally replaced online through the OCI Passport Details Update — the e-OCI does not replace that, but it helps while you arrange it.
OCI holders who want it done for them
Generating the e-OCI needs a working OCI portal login — often registered years ago, with the email or password long forgotten. We recover or register the account, generate the card, and check each detail before delivery.

What does "under process" mean on my OCI application?
It generally means your OCI application has been received and is being processed by the authorities. Timelines vary by case; we help you interpret the status and what typically comes next.
What is an e-OCI card?
An official digital version of your OCI card issued through the Government of India's OCI portal. It can be saved on your phone, presented at immigration check posts and to airlines, and carries a QR code for verification.
Is my physical OCI card still valid?
Yes. Your existing physical OCI card remains valid — the e-OCI is an additional digital copy, not a replacement for the card itself.
Who can get an e-OCI?
Existing OCI holders whose OCI is valid and linked with their current passport. If yours is not yet linked, we complete the OCI linking first and then generate the e-OCI.
