Indian e-Visa fee calculator 2026

An Indian e-Visa through us is one all-inclusive price per traveller, so the sum is simple: £125 for the 30-day tourist e-Visa and £150 for the 1-year. This free calculator works it out for your household in seconds. Pick the e-Visa, set the number of travellers, and add the India e-Arrival Card if you want us to file that too. The total updates as you go, with no signup and nothing to download.

The Indian government e-Visa fee sits inside our price, where eligible, so there is nothing separate to pay on the portal and no visa centre to visit. Check your nationality and purpose of travel before you pay, because the e-Visa is not open to all nationalities or purposes. The decision on each application sits with the Government of India, and we check your eligibility first, so you know where you stand before anything is submitted.

What the e-Visa costs in 2026

We charge one price per traveller. It covers our preparation and the Indian government e-Visa fee, where eligible, and we confirm the inclusive price in writing. There is no separate portal payment and no visa centre fee, because the e-Visa is handled online.

Indian tourist e-Visas and our all-inclusive prices
e-VisaValid forAll-inclusive price
30-day tourist30 days£125
1-year tourist365 days from grant£150

Each traveller has their own application, so fees apply per person. A family of four on the 30-day e-Visa pays £500.

30-day or 1-year?

Both are multiple entry. The 30-day e-Visa suits a single short trip. The 1-year is valid for 365 days from the date of grant, with up to 180 days in India in a calendar year, and it costs £25 more. Each stay is capped at the maximum on your grant, so read your approval letter carefully. Tourist e-Visas are for genuine visits, and casual visits to friends or family are fine. Paid work needs another category.

The India e-Arrival Card

The e-Arrival Card is the digital landing card that all foreign passport holders file within 72 hours before arrival in India. Indian citizens are exempt. It is free on the official channel. If you would rather not do it yourself, our India e-Arrival Card service fills it in, checks it against your passport and submits it for £20 per traveller. You can add it at checkout.

Who can apply

The United Kingdom is on the official Indian e-Visa list, so a British passport holder can apply online. Other nationalities depend on the official list and the type of e-Visa, and our Indian visa services page has a checker for your nationality. If you hold an OCI, you travel under OCI rules instead of an e-Visa. Matrix Solutions does not provide Indian visa services for Pakistani passport holders or persons of Pakistani origin. Applications are made directly to the Indian Mission.

When to apply

Apply at least 4 days before you arrive. Applying earlier leaves time to correct a photo or document if the application is returned. e-Visa holders arrive at one of 33 designated airports or 19 designated seaports, so check your arrival point before you book. Allow several months of passport validity at the time of travel.

What you need

You apply online, so your documents are sent digitally. You need a clear scan of your passport bio page and a digital photo that meets the current e-Visa specification. The portal can ask for further items depending on your nationality or travel history, and we tell you if it does. The e-Visa is emailed to you once it is issued. Avoid non-refundable tickets until you have the grant in your inbox.

What the calculator leaves out

  • 5-year tourist e-Visa, £550 per traveller, all-inclusive.
  • Business e-Visa at £350, and medical e-Visa at £250, per traveller.
  • Sticker visa at £150 per applicant, if your country is not on the list.
  • Your photo. The e-Visa takes a digital photo with no printed size, and we format it to the current specification.

What Matrix Solutions adds

We check your nationality, passport validity and purpose of travel, complete the application on the official portal, format your photo and review each field before submission. We track the status until your e-Visa is issued and emailed to you, and the application is ready in 1 to 2 working days. At least 98% of the e-Visas we filed were approved within 12 hours — the longest took 72 hours. Rework is free if a rejection is due to our error. Where it is not, we advise on next steps, and any government fees are payable again.
